My house plants have been flourishing lately. The aloe plant is needing tho be transplanted into a bigger pot because all the arms on it have gotten long and fat...too big for the pot. The vine has just gone crazy taking over the living room up and over the window sill and crawling along the floor. The money tree used to to sit in the window in the kitchen, but has branched out too much and had to be moved to a table.

Woke up today in a fabulous mood. I did my hair and makeup all pretty, then did some schoolwork for a while. Jason and I went out to do some shopping to get some Christmas gifts for our family members. We didn't purchase anything but we got some ideas and we will probably do some online shopping to make it easy for the both of us. We went to Best Buy to try all the new little gadgets that are out...like the new 3D tvs, the nook reader, and some video cameras. Lots of cool electronics, but very pricey. We ran some other errands...i got a new back back because mine has a big hole in the bottom of it and we also got some yummy groceries at the store. Everytime we go to the grocery store we always buy more than what is on our list. I got ingrediants for our dinner and also some ingrediants to make banana bread. Our dinner was so fantastic...carribean crusted mahi mahi, roasted red potatoes with rosemary, garlic terryaki green beans. We also had some assorted nuts that we cracked from the shells. To top the night off we put up the christmas tree. It is a beautiful 7 foot tree. However, we still need to decorate the tree. We need to get a star, lights, and ornaments. Had a fantastic day and just finishing off the night with some kettle corn and football.

Well just back back to Houston from a nice vacation weekend with my boyfriend. We drove four hours to Dallas to see the Big 12 Championship college football game between Nebraska and Oklahoma. I met my brother and his girlfriend Molly there too. They drove 10 hours from Omaha, Nebraska to watch the game. We got there Friday night and went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant, and then to a really cool bar afterwards. The bar had pool tables, pinball machines, cheap beer, cool artwork, and good music. We had a lot of fun and if I ever go back to Dallas I would like to go there again. On Saturday we woke up and went to get lunch at a Mongolian Grill restaurant, and it was good cuisine. We went back to the hotel for a nap and then drove to Cowboy Stadium at 5pm for the 7 o'clock game. The final score was 23-20 with Oklahoma winning, so that was a bummer for me.
